manfloatingOver the last six months or so I’ve been approached a number of times by people asking me if I could source domains for them to buy. Due to other work commitments I haven’t been in a position to find domains for potential purchasers but recently this has now changed.

If you would like to sell some or all of your domains then here are the guidelines that I will use to co-ordinate these potential sales.

  1. Only traffic domains will be considered. I know that you may have some fantastic brandable domains that would be brilliant to build out but at the moment the buyers that I have are only interested in traffic domains.
  2. The domains must do at least 1 unique per day. At this stage any domains that do not do at least one unique per day will not be considered.
  3. Statistics for at least one month with the following information must be provided: where they are parked, visitors, clicks, revenue.
  4. I may or may not request that they are placed on the ParkLogic platform for one week for a traffic test. Any revenue generated by the traffic test will be returned to the seller.
  5. When sending through a list of domains please clearly state what are your expectations in terms of payment in number of months revenue. For example, are you expecting 12 months or 30 months revenue for the sales of the domains.
  6. A 10% commission will be charged to the seller.

I think that this just about covers everything off. If you have any domains for sale that meet these criteria then please feel free to contact me by clicking here and I will see what can be done to facilitate a transaction as speedily and as painlessly as possible. In the meantime, here's to conducting some great business together!

Daily traffic is a lame measure when let to the parking sharks, hundreds or thousands visitors mean nothing even after shading (there is no standard to measure, I get 50000+ on one provider and 300+ on another for the same domain). Better educate buyers that they are to build their qualified traffic themselves on meaningful domains.

Traffic as a measure

I completely agree with you about your traffic comments....but it immediately filters those that are uninitiated about such issues. One the othe qualifications is that we may request that the domains are put on the ParkLogic platform which allows us to view the raw traffic rather than what the parking companies report back.

I believe traffic on a domain should be done by the buyer. It is about development. For example, Yahoo.com, Google.com de.li.so.us and others would not had any traffic w/o development. You would not buy Google for 1 million if it wern't the company it is now. If you like a name, you need to build it up! For sellers, they need to have a good name(that's all). The buyer knows what to do with it.
