Video - Domain Sales

This is the third video in the 10th Anniversary of Whizzbangsblog. In this video explore the topic of domain sales and how you can increase your own domain sales.

Escrow.com

I've sold a lot of domains over the years and in this video I discuss a number of techniques I've found that greatly assist in selling. I also begin to open up my thoughts on the future of domain sales and more importantly how to better price domains.

I hope you enjoy this video and I would encourage you to leave any comments and questions for me to answer.

More on Domain Pricing

Insightful post Michael,

I agree with your points on selling domain names, and especially in the approval process that's involve with a capital purchase. I think another view on accelerating the purchase decision is emphasizing availability as a first come first serve basis, but not being pushy. Flexibility with payment options and deposits is also a plus to closing the mid size deal. Don't know about millions, but I'd like to : )

I have a couple that might qualify for bigger numbers. If your interested in a broker commission, email me back.

Creating an artificial purchase point doesn't really work with really big deals where a lot of people are involved in the final purchase decision. There's always someone in the chain that really doesn't care about the particular date because they control the cheque book. When the date passes and the domain isn't sold then you've undermined your position of the domain being highly valuable.

I'd love to take on domains to broker but due to my other work demands this just isn't possible.....there's only 24 hours in a day......sigh.....
