I tried to do some business with Coinbase but they said I was fraud and unceremoniously closed my account with no more explanation than that and stopped answering my emails. They're too busy (and I'm not fraud).

Then I tried Gemini.com and everything has gone well. I have since also followed your advice and moved my bitcoin to an unconnected wallet.

That seems crazy about Coinbase! Isn't it just a case of you pay and then get coins? I'm using a nano ledger.....what wallet did you get?

I guess not Michael. I really tried. That might have been the problem. I logged in over a weekend and tried to buy but the site wouldn't process so I think that three or so repeated attempts likely kicked in some sort of fraud alert. That would have been fine to me; I'm all for security but they were terribly unwilling to respond to my emails to fix things. Just ignored them. I think they are just too busy.

The wallet I bought is a Keep Key. So far so good.
