This is the first industry update for 2021 and the changes that have occurred since the last one in mid-December 2020 have been incredible. The statistics show some big changes in how both Google and the Direct Advertising networks are paying out on domain traffic….and it’s all good for domain investors.
I’m sure that every professional investor will get a lot out of the numbers, statistics and charts as I unpack what is happening in the domain monetization industry. My goal is that with this knowledge you can then buy, sell and earn greater amounts of money from your domain portfolio.
For those of you that are interested in hearing more I will be speaking at NamesCon at the following times: Wed, Jan 27

It’s a new year and I could think of no better way to kick off 2021 then with a “Conversations” segment with the CEO of NamesCon, Soeren Von Varchmin. I think that you will really enjoy this conversation as we share about Soeren’s background, the massive changes to NamesCon due to COVID-19 and how NamesCon Online is shaping up in 2 weeks’ time.
NamesCon will be running from 27th – 29th Jan 2021 and you can register at namescon.online. I’m really looking forward to the event and will be running some great Masterclasses on topics such as; “Algorithmic switching”, “Traffic quality”, “How to run a traffic test” as well as participating in a keynote panel and a couple of break-out sessions.
If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet then makes sure you do so. I believe that after the difficulties of last year that this NamesCon Online will be the key event that will launch the industry in a fresh, exciting year ahead.

It’s been an incredible year and I would like to say a big thanks to all the readers and viewers of my Youtube channel and blog for their enthusiastic feedback this past year. Your feedback through emails, comments and by subscribing inspires me to continue to writing and recording my thoughts on online business…..and notably domain name investing.
I would also like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and may 2021 be a much better year for us all. It would also be great to share a drink or two or three with you when we actually meet again in person. In the meantime, I’m preparing some great material for NamesCon at the end of January! Also, don't forget to check out MCL.club.....more lessons are on the way!
Keep safe and I’ll resume vlogging in the new year.
